What happens at our camps

Children learn about the Irish culture through songs, dances, Gaelic language, tin whistle, fiddle, crafts, sports. Each activity is for approximately 45 minutes. The groups have about 10 kids within their own age group and they move from activity to activity with their group throughout the day.

Each year we incorporate a theme which is focused on the counties of Ireland and every year different counties are featured.

Each day we have 2 hours of playtime where children interact with one another outside of their groups. Playtime is after two activities in the morning, followed by 2 more activities, then lunch with a similar structure in the afternoon. We don’t provide lunch so we encourage parents to send a healthy lunch and snacks for their children so their energy levels are high for our fun-packed days.

Between classes and at playtime we provide lots of books and puzzles for the children to check out so they are immersing in everything Irish.
